Suryashakti Mahila Seva Samiti emerged from the vision of Smt. Puspanjali Pradhan, Founder & Director of Suryashakti Institute of Science, Commerce & Technology (SISCAT), established in 2012 in Korua, Kendrapara.
Over years of grassroots work in education and community service, the need for a formal registered society became clear — one that could provide a legal structure for the institute's management, expand social welfare activities, and create a platform for women's leadership in the region.
Today, Suryashakti Mahila Seva Samiti is being formally registered under the Societies Registration Act at the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Cuttack, to serve as the governing body for SISCAT and to spearhead broader social welfare programs across Odisha.

After registration, the Samiti will receive a Certificate of Registration and a unique registration number from IGR, Cuttack.

Responsible for all correspondence, meeting minutes, official communications, and coordination of Samiti activities and programs.
Manages financial accounts, prepares annual budgets, ensures transparent utilisation of all funds, and maintains audit-ready records.
Active participant in planning and execution of all programs, representing community women and contributing to strategic decisions.
